Using Chrome or Safari as the default browser and MacOS Monterey 12.0.1 with an M1 Macbook Air. During log in, I get a pop up that says, "Jira wants to use Atlassian.com to log in" and then all I see is a spinning window in the Jira desktop app. Nothing on Chrome or Safari. Any help would be appreciated!
Symptoms. Actions in JIRA that use popup overlays in the browser such as assigning, resolving, closing, and reopening issues behave strangely and do not visually show the change made. In some cases the action button may appear 'greyed' out. Manually refreshing the page in the browser does appear to show the change. The 'Assign to Me' function Step two: Access the app through one of two ways. The first is to head to the Chrome extension store and download the Jira Extension. This means you can only use this Gmail extension through Chrome. Without the web browser, you wouldn't be able to access its features. The second way is through the GSuit add-on.
I have similar issues. Dashboard does not display at all and menu's don't drop down while the Dashboard (empty) is displayed. This works in Safari, Chrome, and Edge. Although it is very slow. The challenge is that my client's IT policy requires that only IE 11 can be used. Which makes my Jira instance unusable.
you can use your own ChromeDriver with JPT. Just download the correct version according to your version of Google Chrome from: Unpack the driver executable, make sure it's executable and then either place in in the same directory, that you run your tests from, or set the webdriver.chrome.driver property, for example pass it as the JVM argument
If its windows 10, then go to C:\Users\Atlassian\Jira, run the batch file startup_bundled_jre , it will start running the Tomcat and then click on start_service in same folder i.e. batch. . 25 306 391 263 134 141 305 319 291
