Parrot update 17a to CK3100 For those desparate on getting a TYTN II with WM6 connected without troubles (calling spontaneaously, getting connected without voice to the car speakers etc.) to a CK3100, my solution was to contact Parrot technical support in the UK. They send you software update 17a to flash to your Parrot.
Get rid of the Parrot's wiring harness interrupts from the black box. The black box is the Parrot's amp. Don't cut off the loose yellow wire from the black box, that is the mute wire. DON'T CUT OFF the black box altogether, thinking you can use the yellow wire going into it. The yellow wires going in and out are NOT continuous.

I fitted Parrot Bluetooth CK3100 in my 2001 XK8 which was the last model I had without factory Bluetooth: CK & MKi Ranges - Parrot USA It was low cost, a reasonably neat installation (circled in red) and reliable. If I was looking for an aftermarket solution now, I'd be going for the one with phone and audio combined.
